Driver ID

DRIVER ID

To effectively monitor the behavior of drivers, we must first know who is driving the vehicle.  Our devices support a range of driver ID options which can be configured to sound a buzzer or immobilize an asset until a valid driver ID tag is scanned, thus eliminating the opportunity to 'forget' to log on before operating the vehicle.

An Important Safety Tool

Driver Identification is an important safety tool, as it allows for people to be accounted for while operating a vehicle.  This information can also be used to ensure educational action can be taken should a driver violate any laws or safety regulations that could negatively impact safety or compliance of operations.

Our devices support Multiple Driver ID Options, including iButton®, RFID cards, and Wiegand Readers. In many cases, the current cards in use on a worksite can also be configured with our devices. Smart firmware features like the ability to "buzz on start" until a valid ID is scanned or immobilize the vehicle without a valid ID ensures that drivers tag on.
